Attempting to deploy a new VM, you receive the error message VM or
Template has no devices assigned. Unable to clone. After fixing the
problem, manually redeploy the service using the Automated Deployment
This can occur when a VM or Template in VMware vCenter does not
contain any hardware component (disks, NICs). If you encounter this
error, please try to clone the VM or Template directly in vCenter. If it
fails, it will continue to fail when deployment is requested in
vCommander™ as well.
Typical, this error indicates that you will have to recreate the VM or Template and add it to the Service Catalog again.
If you are able to deploy from the VM or Template in vCenter successfully, please send a diagnostics package to Embotics Technical Support.
